Football Recap: Rushville-Industry Falls to Macomb in First Game of Season

Rushville-Industry unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a hard 28-14 fall against the Macomb Bombers on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rockets of the 36-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2022.

Despite the loss, Rushville-Industry still got an impressive performance from Rylan Reimolds, who rushed for 98 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also picked up 36 receiving yards.

Rushville-Industry wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 40-8 victory against ROWVA/Williamsfield on the 5th. As for Macomb, they have also already played their next contest, a 42-6 win against Hamilton/Warsaw on the 5th.
