Volleyball Game Preview: Wild Rose Wildcats vs. Assumption Royals

The Wild Rose Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the Assumption Royals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Tuesday, Wild Rose didn't have quite enough to beat Rosholt and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Assumption was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Chequamegon.

Wild Rose's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Assumption, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-22.

Wild Rose came out on top in a nail-biter against Assumption when the teams last played back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
