Basketball Game Preview: West Philadelphia Speedboys vs. Chester Clippers

The West Philadelphia Speedboys will head out to face off against the Chester Clippers at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

On Thursday, West Philadelphia came up short against Audenried and fell 61-54. The Speedboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Chester waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 65-52 victory over the Patriots.

Chester's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.9 points per game. As for West Philadelphia, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

West Philadelphia couldn't quite finish off Chester in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 and fell 58-55. Can West Philadelphia avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
