While NOVA HomeSchool's victory against Blue Ridge wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions skirted past the Jays 2-1. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Jays recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Cole Faircloth looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, NOVA HomeSchool saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Finbar Clune, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI.

NOVA HomeSchool's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Blue Ridge, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7.

Coming up, NOVA HomeSchool will host Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blue Ridge, they will venture away from home to take on Fredericksburg V at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
