Basketball Recap: Bayfront Charter Takes a Loss

Bayfront Charter played a tough matchup on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 73-48 to the High Tech CV Bruins. The Sharks haven't had much luck with the Bruins recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Kyle Ilagan was his usual excellent self, putting up 19 points for High Tech CV. Ilagan's afternoon made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Ramos, who posted ten points.

Bayfront Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for High Tech CV, they pushed their record up to 10-9 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Bayfront Charter will head out to face off against Gompers Prep Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for High Tech CV, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against O'Farrell Charter at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. High Tech CV is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.6 points per game this season.
