Preview: Brockport Blue Devils vs. Churchville-Chili Saints
Brockport has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Churchville-Chili Saints at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
Brockport suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a rough 69-32 loss at the hands of Mendon. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Brockport in their matchups with Mendon: they've now lost three in a row.
Churchville-Chili was handed a 21-point loss in their previous outing, but they didn't let that bad energy affect their game against Gates Chili on Wednesday. Churchville-Chili skirted past Gates Chili 55-53. The win was just what Churchville-Chili needed coming off of a 77-56 defeat in their prior game.
Brockport bumped their record down to 3-10 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Churchville-Chili, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season.
Brockport might still be hurting after the 71-51 loss they got from Churchville-Chili when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Brockport avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
