Basketball Recap: Cambridge Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against John Glenn, Cambridge was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 76-66 victory over the Martins Ferry Purple Riders. This was payback for the Bobcats, who suffered a 73-48 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Cambridge's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Martins Ferry, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cambridge will welcome St. Clairsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Clairsville will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Cambridge surely won't give up without a fight. As for Martins Ferry, they will host Buckeye Local at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Martins Ferry is facing Buckeye Local at the right time seeing as Buckeye Local is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
