Soccer Game Preview: Johnson vs. Clark

Johnson had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Churchill on Friday. Johnson put the hurt on Churchill with a sharp 3-0 victory. Given the Jaguars' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Chargers are ranked 346th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Clark's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They and Reagan finished up their game with a 0-0 draw. The result kept the Cougars happy, as they haven't lost a game since February 18th.

Johnson's win bumped their record up to 11-4-6. Clark's draw gives them a new season record of 12-4-5.
