Basketball Game Preview: Chimacum Cowboys vs. Cascade Christian Cougars

Chimacum is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Cascade Christian is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Chimacum Cowboys will host the Cascade Christian Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Friday, Chimacum got the win against Vashon Island by a conclusive 56-31.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Cascade Christian against Seattle Christian on Thursday as the squad secured a 57-21 win. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 118th, while the Warriors are ranked 287th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Chimacum has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points per game. As for Cascade Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.
