Basketball Recap: Crazy Horse Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Crazy Horse can now relate to. They took a blow against the Viborg/Hurley Cougars on Tuesday, falling 73-37. While losing is never fun, the Chiefs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Cougars are ranked 11th).

The defeat snapped Crazy Horse's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-8 record. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points over those games. As for Viborg/Hurley, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-2.

As of now, neither Crazy Horse nor Viborg/Hurley have any future games scheduled.
