Interlake barely beat Lindbergh the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Interlake blew past Lindbergh 14-3 on Friday. With that win, the Saints brought their scoring average up to 7.2 runs per game.
Lizzy Thompsen made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Thompsen was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. She also put up a hit, which was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Interlake got a massive performance out of Jacky Jimenez, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits Jimenez has posted since back in March of 2024. Sreya Maganti was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and one run.
