Softball Recap: Springfield Renaissance vs. Commerce Red Raiders
Springfield Renaissance had lost four straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 2-4 to make it five. They lost 19-10 to the Commerce Red Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Commerce this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-8 last Monday.
Sofia Rivera was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Dylanis Molina Cordero also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
