Basketball Preview: Indian Creek Braves vs. Purdue Poly Englewood

Indian Creek came into Saturday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 59-51 victory over Hauser on Saturday.
Indian Creek's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Trent Volz led the charge by scoring 11 points along with six assists and three steals. Brayden Lowhorn was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Purdue Poly Englewood put another one in the bag last Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Covenant Christian by a score of 66-54. Given Purdue Poly Englewood's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Warriors are ranked 215th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Indian Creek's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Purdue Poly Englewood, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.
