Canutillo is a perfect 10-0 against Chapin since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will face off against the Huskies at 6:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Chapin will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Canutillo extended their winning streak to 12 on Tuesday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over Burges.

Emilio Melendez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
In other batting news, Ashton Dupri was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Paul Zuniga was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Canutillo always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Burges only posted an OBP of .227.
Chapin came out on top against Jefferson on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive 12-run fourth inning. The Huskies put the hurt on the Silver Foxes with a sharp 15-5 win. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Silver Foxes recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Chapin got a big performance out of Julian Flores, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Flores has become a key player for the Huskies: the team is 9-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-8-1 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Beckett Babb, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Canutillo's record now sits at 16-8-1. As for Chapin, their record is now 14-10-1.
Friday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Canutillo has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .469. However, it's not like Chapin struggles in that department as they've averaged .459. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Canutillo's way against Chapin when the teams last played back in March, as Canutillo made off with a 13-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
