Forest let Pelahatchie stack 11 runs on them in the third inning on Saturday but luckily Forest prevailed anyway. The Bearcats came out on top against the Chiefs by a score of 19-16. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 23-18 back in February.

The win made it two in a row for Forest and bumps their season record up to 5-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 21.0 runs over those games. As for Pelahatchie, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-15.

Coming up, Forest will face off against Scott Central at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. The Bearcats will need to watch out since the Rebels have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Pelahatchie, they will take on Stringer at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
