Central won the last time they faced Sweetwater and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Spartans came out on top against the Red Devils by a score of 2-0.

While Central won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 26-24.

Sara Morales paced Central's offense, picking up seven kills. Morales got some help from Rhyanna Velazco and her 11 assists. Velazco was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Central's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Sweetwater, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.

Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Chula Vista on the 10th. As for Sweetwater, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Imperial on the 10th.
