Santa Fe South is a perfect 4-0 against Elgin since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Saints will venture away from home to take on the Owls at 7:00 p.m. Elgin took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Santa Fe South, who comes in off a win.

Santa Fe South and Northwest Classen faced off in a cross-town battle back in March. The Saints skirted past the Knights 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for Santa Fe South.

Meanwhile, Elgin entered their contest against Putnam City West on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Owls lost 4-0 to the Patriots.

Elgin's loss dropped their record down to 6-3-1. As for Santa Fe South, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4-2.

Everything went Santa Fe South's way against Elgin in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as Santa Fe South made off with a 10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Saints since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
