The Gustine Reds will take on the Mariposa County Grizzlies at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Gustine will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
Gustine's pitching crew heads into the  contest  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Thursday. They blew past Waterford 10-0. The Reds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six  runs or more this season.
 Alexander Quezada was a major factor no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Jake Campbell, who  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and three  RBI.  Mike Saaranzin was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Mariposa County was able to grind out a solid  victory over Delhi on Tuesday, taking the game  6-1. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Grizzlies.
Like Gustine, Mariposa County also got a great game from a two-way player:  Ben Lingenfelter. On the mound, he  struck out 11 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Lingenfelter has become a key player for Mariposa County: the team is 2-1 when he posts  at  least  eight  strikeouts, but 2-6 otherwise. Lingenfelter was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4. He also  hit a  double, marking his first of the season.
 In other batting news, Mariposa County got a big performance out of  Laten Butler, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Ezekiel Weiland, who  scored a  run and  stole three bases while going 1-for-2.
 Gustine's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 10-3. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Mariposa County, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
Mariposa County's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Gustine hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .313. It's a different story for Mariposa County, though, as  they've  only  averaged .251. Will they be able to contain Gustine's hitters?
 Everything went Gustine's way against Mariposa County in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024, as Gustine made off with  a  14-4 victory. Does  Gustine have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mariposa County turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
