Volleyball Recap: Newton Local Indians vs. Fort Loramie Redskins
Newton Local suffered their biggest loss since August 27th on Saturday. They came up short against the Fort Loramie Redskins, falling 3-0. The Indians' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Fort Loramie was led to victory by Katie Luthman and Avery Brandewie. Luthman had seven digs and three aces, while Brandewie hit 50% for 17 kills and ten digs and three aces. Brandewie is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in the last 26 games she's played dating back to last season.
Newton Local's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-8. As for Fort Loramie, the win was the 22nd in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-1.
Newton Local does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort Loramie, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Russia on the 31st.
