Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Omro). They were the clear victors by a 21-5 margin over the Weyauwega-Fremont Warhawks on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Foxes in their matchups with the Warhawks: they've now won four in a row.

Brock Frye made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Omro is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-5 otherwise. Frye was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his six plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Omro got a massive performance out of Cade Boynton, who got on base in three of his six plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those RBI marked the first that Boynton has brought in this season. Another player making a difference was Tanner Piper, who got on base in four of his six plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

Omro always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Omro's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Weyauwega-Fremont, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Omro will face off against Campbellsport at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Weyauwega-Fremont, they will venture away from home to take on Manawa at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
