Soccer Recap: Chowchilla Comes Up Short

After soaring to 14 goals the game before, Chowchilla was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They fell 3-1 to the Parlier Panthers. The Tribe were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Chowchilla's goal came courtesy of Alexy Herrera, who's now up to nine this season.

Chowchilla's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-4-3. As for Parlier, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-8.

Chowchilla has already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Riverdale on the 21st. As for Parlier, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Laton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
