Flag Football Recap: Frederick Comes Up Short Despite Marlene Kolonda's Big Defensive Game

Frederick lost against Urbana back in October and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cadets fell 13-6 to the Hawks. The matchup marked the Cadets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Even if they lost, Frederick's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Marlene Kolonda was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up three herself.

Frederick moved to 9-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Urbana, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
