Baseball Recap: Pueblo Takes a Loss

Pueblo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 16-0 to the Desert View Jaguars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-0 last Tuesday.

Pueblo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julian Zepeda, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Pueblo's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Desert View, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Pueblo will square off against rival Cienega at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Desert View is set to face off against their familiar foe Flowing Wells at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
