Basketball Recap: Bartlett Comes Up Short

Bartlett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost to the Geneva Vikings on the road by a 50-34 margin. The Hawks were not able to make up for their loss to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.

Bartlett's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Geneva, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Bartlett has already played their next game (against Naperville Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Geneva, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against St. Charles North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will be up against the North Stars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 63.6 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
