 Rock Port scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Thursday. They put the hurt on East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] with a sharp  20-8 win. Winning may never get old, but Rock Port sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
 Rock Port let  Dylan Lair and  Ozey Hurst loose on the outfield. Lair  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances, while  Hurst  went 1-for-4 with a  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs.  Tayden Cook was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Rock Port has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record  this season. As for East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax],  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-4.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rock Port will take on South Nodaway at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. South Nodaway will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something Rock Port surely won't give up without a fight. As for East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax], they will play host again  on Friday to welcome King City, where first pitch is scheduled  at 4:30  p.m.
