Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Wiregrass Ranch

Ajayden Jenkins produced another solid effort going 10-for-20 en route to 34 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Jenkins is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jackson Swedenburg, who posted seven points and six boards.

As for Columbia, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss they have suffered since January 11, 2025.

Columbia's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shaheed White, who shot 55% from the field to rack up 13 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikel Morgan, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wiregrass Ranch will welcome Steinbrenner at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Columbia, they will host Gainesville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will be up against the Hurricanes' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.71 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
