Crosby waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Porter Spartans. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Spartans on March 3rd, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Crosby's victory bumped their record up to 11-9-1. As for Porter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.

Looking ahead, Crosby will head out on the road to take on Splendora at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Porter, they will challenge West Fork at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
