Football Game Preview: Maud Tigers vs. Midway Chargers

The Maud Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Midway Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Maud will be strutting in after a win while Midway will be coming in after a loss.

Maud will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up six points last Thursday, then bounced right back against Bowlegs on Friday. The Tigers blew past the Bison 44-8.

Meanwhile, Midway fell victim to Sasakwa and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Vikings 48-0.

Midway's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Maud, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Everything came up roses for Maud against Midway in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 50-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
