Volleyball Recap: Albemarle Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Albemarle lost against South Stanly on September 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Rowdy Rebel Bulls by a score of 3-2.

Albemarle wouldn't go down easily and took South Stanly into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking nine-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-7, 22-25, 23-25, 15-6.

Albemarle's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for South Stanly, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Albemarle will square off against rival Union Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, South Stanly is set to challenge their familiar foe North Stanly at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
