Volleyball Recap: St. Charles Catholic Takes a Loss

St. Charles Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Archbishop Hannan Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Comets of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2017.

St. Charles Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Archbishop Hannan, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

St. Charles Catholic has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Cabrini on the 20th. As for Archbishop Hannan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Academy of the Sacred Heart on the 20th.
