Fillmore got themselves on the board against Nordhoff on Tuesday, but Nordhoff never followed suit. They came out on top against the Rangers by a score of 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-0 on April 3rd.

Kailyn Pineda was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.

The win made it two in a row for Fillmore and bumps their season record up to 10-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Nordhoff, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Fillmore didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-0 loss against Pacifica on the 23rd. As for Nordhoff, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 11-0 win against Carpinteria on the 24th.
