Millie Metz made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Metz has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in 11 consecutive pitching appearances. Metz was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with a triple, a run, and a double.
