Parkwood is 8-2 against Central Academy since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Wolf Pack will square off against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Last Thursday, Parkwood didn't have quite enough to beat Porter Ridge and fell 2-1. The loss continues a trend for the Wolf Pack in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Central Academy's offense. They lost 11-0 to West Stanly on Friday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Parkwood's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Central Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.

Parkwood came up short against Central Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2024, falling 7-3. Can the Wolf Pack avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
