Mason Caturegli Turns in Season-Best Effort

Mason Caturegli produced his most outstanding game to date while leading St. Vincent de Paul to the win on Friday. Caturegli picked up 87 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 51 yards.

The win was the fourth in a row for St. Vincent de Paul, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. Caturegli and St. Vincent de Paul will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Analy at 2:00 p.m.

Phillips Posts Huge Game in 34-7 Win

Ukiah found a leader in Omaurie Phillips as the team took down Montgomery on Friday. Nobody could stop Phillips as he picked up 193 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 50 yards.

The victory made it two in a row for Ukiah and bumps their season record up to 4-2. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Wildcats challenges Santa Rosa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Beau David Makes It Two for Ukiah

Keeping Phillips company is Beau David, a fellow Ukiah player. He threw for 261 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.1 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 31 yards.

This season, David has thrown 17 touchdowns while averaging 253 passing yards per game.

Gabe Casanovas Turns in Another Game with at Least Three Passing Touchdowns

The second St. Vincent de Paul player making an appearance here is Gabe Casanovas, and for good reason. He threw for 148 yards and three touchdowns while completing 90% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.

This season, Casanovas has thrown 18 touchdowns while averaging 203.3 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had eight passing touchdowns.

Rashai Thompson Makes Top Five

Rounding off our Top Five is Rashai Thompson of Santa Rosa. Thompson's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 119 rushing yards dating back to last season. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 84-yard run.

Santa Rosa is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Panthers dukes it out withUkiah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
