Flag Football Game Preview: Verrado Vipers vs. La Joya Community Fighting Lobos + How To Watch

The Verrado Vipers will face off against the La Joya Community Fighting Lobos at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Verrado is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

On Tuesday, Verrado was able to grind out a solid victory over Lake Havasu, taking the game 21-9.

Verrado found their leader in sophomore Lakisha Guzman, who picked up five sacks and made seven total tackles.

Verrado didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Madison Kesel and Jhaylah Scisson. Guzman was another major factor on D, picking up five sacks and making seven total tackles.

Meanwhile, La Joya Community played in-conference for the first time on Wednesday and got just the result they were looking for. They skirted past Youngker 6-3.

La Joya Community's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Verrado, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2-1.

Everything came up roses for Verrado against La Joya Community in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 42-0 win. Do the Vipers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Fighting Lobos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
