Beaver waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Blackhawk Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Beaver was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-12, 25-11.

Beaver can attribute much of their success to Malaya Oster, who had six digs and four aces.

Oster wasn't the only good servers: Beaver was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in nine consecutive matches.

Beaver's win bumped their record up to 41-3. As for Blackhawk, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

As of now, neither Beaver nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
