Baseball Game Preview: El Dorado Cougars vs. Amador Buffaloes

For the second straight game, El Dorado will face off against Amador. The Cougars will head out to square off against the Buffaloes at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. El Dorado is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, El Dorado didn't have quite enough to beat Amador and fell 10-9.

For Amador's part, Wyatt Sliwak was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Sliwak wasn't the only one making solid contact: Amador kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as El Dorado only managed eight hits.

Amador's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-11-1. As for El Dorado, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.
