Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Sullivan County turned things around against Benton on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Tigers 46-14. The matchup marked the Griffins' most dominant victory of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Columbia Montour Vo-Tech). They strolled past Millville with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 58-40. The win was some much needed relief for the Rams as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Columbia Montour Vo-Tech's victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-15. As for Sullivan County, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Sullivan County strolled past Columbia Montour Vo-Tech when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 62-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sullivan County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
