Coronado extended their losing streak to ten on Friday, dropping them down to 0-10. They took a 42-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lubbock Westerners. On the bright side, the 35- point effort marked the Mustangs' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Despite the loss, Coronado still got an impressive performance from Campbell Stanek, who picked up 125 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

As for Lubbock, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 2-8 record. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for their offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Bo Davis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 253 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 12.7 yards per carry. Those five rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Anthony Boyd was another key player, rushing for 88 yards and one score on only eight carries.

As of now, neither Coronado nor Lubbock have any future games scheduled.
