Baseball Recap: Bartow Comes Up Short

Bartow lost to George Jenkins back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Yellow Jackets fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bartow's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for George Jenkins, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Bartow will venture away from home to challenge Lakeland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Dreadnaughts' pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so the Yellow Jackets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for George Jenkins, they will welcome McKeel Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
