Colony has gone 9-1 against Lathrop recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Knights will welcome the Malemutes at 1:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Colony is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: West Valley, who was ranked 12th at the time (Colony was ranked first). The Knights fell just short of the Wolf Pack by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The loss was Colony's first of the season.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Lathrop's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Wasilla by a score of 2-1.

Lathrop's goal came courtesy of Jaume Ripoll, who's now up to three this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Colony fell to 10-1-2. As for Lathrop, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Colony took their victory against Lathrop in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0 score. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Malemutes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
