Volleyball Recap: Ballard Bulldogs vs. Northeast Vernon County Knights

Ballard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northeast Vernon County Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture two weeks ago.

While Ballard was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-20.

Leading Northeast Vernon County to victory were Mackenzie Lee and Mia Wallace. Lee had five kills, three aces, and a block, while Wallace had three aces and ten assists. Lee is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in the last nine games she's played.
