Football Recap: Landmark Christian Piles Up the Points Against Lake Oconee Academy

Landmark Christian won against South Atlanta last Thursday with 35 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The War Eagles took their contest with ease, bagging a 35-7 win over the Lake Oconee Academy Titans. The result was nothing new for the War Eagles, who have now won three games by 28 points or more so far this season.

Skylar Hamilton was his usual excellent self, rushing for 117 yards and a pair of scores on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 290 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.8 yards per attempt. Those 290 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Jo'Van Freeney(Ath) was another key player, picking up 142 receiving yards and two TDs.

The victory keeps Landmark Christian at an undefeated 5-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 32.0 points this season. As for Lake Oconee Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
