Baseball Recap: Jefferson Academy Jaguars vs. Englewood Pirates
While Jefferson Academy put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Englewood. The Jaguars put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 9-0 win. That looming 9-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Jaguars yet this season.
Ben Pederson made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 14 over six innings pitched. Those 14 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.
