Geneva got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ben Peterson out in front who threw for 118 yards and four TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes. The Vikings' leading receiver Bennett Konkey was Peterson's top target yet again, picking up 75 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Another reason for the win was Geneva's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Andrew Smith, Wyatt Curry, and Jameson Barbat, who each picked up one sack apiece. Geneva got some further help from Smith: he picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made six total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 14 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Tate Beran, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
