While Lighthouse Christian's victory against Castleford wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions skirted past the Wolves 3-2. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Lighthouse Christian got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16, 29-31, 19-25, 15-9.

Lighthouse Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Castleford, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Lighthouse Christian and Castleford will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Lions are set to square off against their familiar foe Glenns Ferry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Castleford will challenge rival Hansen at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
