Baseball Recap: Lockhart Takes a Loss

Lockhart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Cedar Park Timberwolves, falling 14-6. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 11-1 to the Timberwolves when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Gage Deutsch made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Jesse Flores, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Lockhart's record is now 7-12. As for Cedar Park, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-14.

While Lockhart had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
