Volleyball Recap: Millennium Wins Going Away Against Aspire Langston Hughes Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ben Holt College Prep Academy, Millennium was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Aspire Langston Hughes Academy Titans. The win was some much needed relief for the Falcons as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-16, 26-24.

Millennium's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-6. As for Aspire Langston Hughes Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Millennium will face off against rival Venture Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Aspire Langston Hughes Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Ben Holt College Prep Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
