Soccer Game Preview: Niwot vs. Holy Family + Official Tickets

The Niwot Cougars will take on the Holy Family Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Niwot's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Niwot's offense. They fell just short of Silver Creek by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Niwot can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 51st, while Silver Creek are ranked tenth).

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Holy Family was not quite Centaurus' equal in the second half last Friday. They lost 4-0 to the Warriors. Holy Family haven't had much luck with Centaurus recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Holy Family's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Niwot, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4-2.
