Booker T. Washington entered their tilt with University on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 64-51 victory over the University Tigers. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by exactly 13 points.

Despite the defeat, University saw an underclassman step up: sophomore LaTrevius Gant posted 20 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Gant has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Michael Serino, who put up seven points and seven steals.

Booker T. Washington's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-6. As for University, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6.

Booker T. Washington will host Soulsville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for University, they will take on Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
